X-Men: Regenesis #1

I haven’t actually read any of Schism, because it really didn’t interest me much (I’ve come to prefer small storylines running through individual books over these massive “game-changing” runs that seem to occur every single year). However, I picked this up today because I’m planning to pick up a bunch of the new-look-X-books as they come out, and I wanted to see where people’s loyalties lie.

And I have to say, I felt this was a pretty good issue. A sort of whistlestop tour of the big players of the X-Men, showing you who’s going with Logan and who’s staying with Scott. I really like the way they’ve shown everyone’s reasons and motives for the decisions, and it feels like it’s a nice issue to lead into this new era of the X-Men with.
